The why
Thomas Morrison was an incredibly kind, compassionate, loyal, funny, clever, athletic, smart, sensitive, animal-loving, magictastical human. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, coach... Who we lost on September 1, 2024 at the age of 31 after a 10+ year battle with the disease of addiction.
​Even in the depths of his battle with this disease, Thomas's caring, sensitive, beautiful soul shone through. It was clear he cared deeply for those around him and worked overtime to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. For every moment of addiction, we have thousands of laughter, love, and friendship. We miss him overwhelmingly.
In honor of him, we establish this Thomas R Morrison Youth Impact Fund through The Healing Revolution, his sister's nonprofit. This fund will be used to educate teens on simple and effective emotional and nervous system regulation strategies as resiliency tools to break cycles of shame and manage anxiety, depression, pain, and addiction prevention/recovery. No one and no family deserves to go through this.
In the spirit of Thomas's caring and helpful nature, we feel this is a beautiful way to carry forward his spirit and his magical ability to make everyone around him feel belonging and understanding. We hope you'll join us this rebellious act of love resilience. Together we can change lives.
